About Your Room: A Few Tips

The Manoir des Remparts’ age undoubtedly accounts for much of its charm, but the years have also granted the building a few quirks. Please read and apply the following tips for a comfortable and worry-free stay.

  A Few Tips

	Temperature: Maintaining the perfect temperature is much easier than reaching said temperature. Cast iron radiators provide incredibly even and comfortable heating for the room, yet any adjustment you make will take time to be felt. Follow the instructions for the AC unit and the radiators on the next page.
	Windows: Those windows weren’t installed yesterday. Be gentle when opening and closing them, and make sure that the movement follows the rails on each side. Two important tips: a.     To avoid them getting stuck, do not open the windows by more than 10 inches. b.     If a window does get stuck open, do not try to push it down forcibly. Rather try raising it a few inches to set it back on its rails on each side, before sliding it down with ease.
	Hair dryers: To avoid a power outage on your floor, make sure no other energy hungry item is plugged in simultaneously in the same outlet when using a hair dryer.
	Duvets & duvet covers: Please use the bed scarf at the foot of your bed to put down your luggage on the bed. We work hard to keep our duvet comforters and their covers immaculate for our customers and stains are not easily removed.
